Do Not Be A Prisoner Of Your Expectations

Whatever the mind of humans can conceive and believe, can be achieved. Think about it, many are prisoners of their expectations when they are not fortunate beginners or succeed after a few tries. You must be willing to fail until
you do definitely and definitively succeed. "Failing forward" is the best way to be, for, through this technique, you ultimately succeed permanently through persistence of not just effort, but persistence of creativity.

Creative persistence creates success. I am not at all writing about being stubborn or trying the same thing until you go insane. No, not at all. I mean persisting creatively until you do succeed, even if the failures seem infinitely
happening and even endless at times.

Everyone solves problems in existence, everyone fills a need in existence as they solve problems. The point to this sentence is, that is the thing that happens forever endlessly, without matter to how much "perfection" we achieve or greatness we achieve as long as there is life and active existence, there is always an opportunity to act, fail and succeed.

If you accept the nature of temporary failure for what it is, you can succeed at any reasonable or "unreasonable" goal.
The word "unreasonable" is in quotes for this reason: Anything that can be creatively conceived can ultimately and reasonably be achieved by anyone who is willing to pursue success despite the temporary failures to achieve on the first
few tries. From Phillipp Reis and Elisha Gray not turning the screw of the telephone so that they could talk through the transmitter, and Alexander Graham Bell succeeding where Gray and Reis failed, to the many stuntmen breaking bones and blowing up motorcycles trying to jump the Grand Canyon in the Southwest United States until one succeeded. My point is, eg seems unreasonable until it is done and a normal thing that is done by everyone.

When I say, "do not be a prisoner of your expectations,"this is exactly what I mean: To create a winner, you must be willing to temporarily fail until you succeed. Note here: I said the word "willing", I did not say that you must
temporarily fail to succeed. Some succeed the first time, some succeed after many times. But my point is that you must be willing to try, do and both, if needed until you do succeed.

Listen, only a fool believes in permanent failure and genuinely unreasonable goals. A genuinely intelligent person believes in success through perseverance and persistence. A good or great effort is never lost when that sort of
persistence is involved.

Unleash your potential,
Serene.K
161 Taylor Street
New York, NY 10013

Meditation Changes Your Mind, Body and Fortune

When we perform a selfless deed, for instance, we often say that we “feel warm inside,” because when it really is a good deed, a physical warmth can actually arise in our bodies! This is the result of one’s chi channels opening up because of performing a good deed, after which the body’s yang chi will start flowing through those previously restricted energy channels. And sometimes those particular channels could not be opened up through any other means than through the practice of charity, even when the individual is an advanced cultivation practitioner! So the practice of charity is extremely important, much more than we can possibly relate.

When you perform a truly virtuous and selfless deed, your mind virtually “opens up” to experience a peace that reflects transformation at a very deep level. The stillness one thus experiences will result in emptiness bliss for a split moment, and yet this fractional instant of time will still be long enough for the yang chi to be born. By universal law, yin (stillness no matter how short in time) always gives birth to yang and yang produces life and warmth. Thus this phenomenon we have all experienced is actually just one of the many personal confirmations one can encounter proving that the Tao school is correct in its science and observations.

Why can the effects of emptiness be so powerful, so powerful that it can change fate? For exactly the same reason that a tiny atom can power entire cities, even though it is mostly emptiness as well.

We say emptiness is empty like the void, yet emptiness gives rise to all creation. Ancient Chinese civilization has sometimes represented emptiness by the element of metal because metal is extremely strong, and emptiness is so strong that it can break absolutely anything. It is also strong enough to give birth without dying. So the potential force within emptiness is immeasurable -- so immeasurable that it can change matter, especially when it is guided by the mind.

Emptiness is like the number zero, which can stand for nullity or infinity. However, when we cultivate to change our minds, bodies and fortunes, we tap into the infinity side of the matter and thus can access the energy of the entire universe! This is why we can actually change things through cultivation, for no other method enables you to tap into emptiness.

- White Fat Cow

Best Regards,
Enoch Tan - Creator of Mind Reality
http://www.MindReality.com
"Learn Secrets about the Mind and Reality that will Fully Benefit You!"

The good news is that effective communication is a learned skill.
THE 3 ELEMENTS OF DIRECT COMMUNICATION

According to Albert Mehrabian of UCLA, there are 3 elements in any direct, face-to-face communication. They are the elements of words, tone of voice, and body language.

The Elements of Words

Words only account for 7 % of any message. For an effective communication to take place, of course, all three parts of the message must be congruent and consistent with each other. If there isn’t any congruency, the receiver will be confused and will have a tendency to accept the predominant form of communication rather than the literal meaning or words.

Emphasis and Tone

The emphasis and tone have the power to completely change the message that is being communicated. Often, you will say something to a person and they may become offended. When you express that the words you used were intended to be inoffensive, the other person will tell you that it was your tone of voice that was the issue.

Body Language

You can dramatically increase the effect of your communication by leaning toward the speaker or shifting your weight forward onto the balls of your feet. If you can face the person directly and give them direct eye contact, combined with fully-focused attention, you double the impact of what you’re saying.

These are my favorites when making vitamin and herb water.
An easy formula for making a variety of fruit and herb infused waters. Say goodbye to soda, juice, & bottled water with these refreshing "spa water" flavors!

Ingredients
•fruit -- 2 cups berries, citrus, melons, pineapple...most fruits will work (see recommended amounts in directions)
•herbs -- a sprig of mint, basil, sage, rosemary, tarragon, thyme, or lavender
•water (tap or filtered)
•ice

Directions
Supplies needed: 2 quart pitcher or jar with lid; muddler or wooden spoon

General formula for whatever fruit/herb combo you desire.
1. If using herbs, add a sprig of fresh herbs to jar/pitcher; press and twist with muddler or handle of wooden spoon to bruise leaves and release flavor; don't pulverize the herbs into bits.
2. Add approx. 2 cups of fruit to jar/pitcher; press and twist with muddler or handle of wooden spoon, just enough to release some of the juices
3. Fill jar/pitcher with ice cubes.
4. Add water to top of jar/pitcher.
5. Cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days.

Suggested flavor combinations:
ALL CITRUS (no herbs) -- Slice 1 orange, 1 lime, 1 lemon into rounds, then cut the rounds in half. Add to jar and proceed with muddling, add ice & water.
RASPBERRY LIME (no herbs) -- Quarter 2 limes; with your hands, squeeze the juice into the jar, then throw in the squeezed lime quarters. Add 2 cups raspberries. Muddle, add ice & water.
PINEAPPLE MINT -- Add a sprig of mint to the jar (you can throw in the whole sprig; or, remove the leaves from the sprig, if you prefer to have the mint swimming around and distributing in the jar). Muddle the mint. Add 2 cups pineapple pieces, muddle, add ice & water.
BLACKBERRY SAGE -- Add sage sprig to jar and muddle. Add 2 cups blackberries; muddle, add ice & water.
WATERMELON ROSEMARY -- Add rosemary sprig to jar & muddle. Add 2 cups watermelon cubes; muddle, add ice and water.

Namaste

Manifesting Success: Love Yourself

1. Love Yourself

Love for self is a strange thing; we want it but hide from it at the same time. It is good practice to examine how you choose to show up in life. Actions speak louder than words and the results you have in your life indicate the energy
you are constantly giving out. While this can be a very sobering thought, it also gives us the key to creating a more fulfilling life as well.

For instance, where do you sit at a seminar or in a lecture room, up near the front so you can fully engage in what the speaker is delivering, or do you sit way down the back, out of sight, out of the firing line of questions or having to
respond or commit to anything?

How you show up in life, interested, enthusiastic, focused or lethargic, uninterested and half-hearted, will give you results and experience of equal intensity and joy. You always have a choice. You just need to be aware that you
have a choice, that you can change your vibrational attraction by making small changes over time.

Our beliefs play a major role in how we perceive who we are, our identity. Our thoughts and feelings are swayed by these beliefs too. Out political beliefs, religious beliefs, if any, our preferences in education, relationships, business, music, art, literature, sport, fashion and food all determine our image of who and what we are; these are our identities.

If you say, “I am (what) a middle class businessman” or “I am a wife and mother” or if you say, “I am (how you value yourself) useless”, or “I am smart”, or if you say, “I am (how you are feeling) depressed” or “I am thrilled”, then you are expressing your belief about your identity of that moment.

Your identity will inevitably determine your thoughts and actions, and when your identity is negative, eg, “I’m useless, I can’t do anything right”, or “I’m
stupid”, or “I’m not lovable, no-one will ever love me”, this is precisely the time you need to stop and reassess your self identity. You can turn this around by finding just one thought that will give you a sense of relief, a glimmer of hope that your destiny is not forever tied up with this negative identity.

If you think you are useless, for instance, you can turn this into relief by saying something like, “I may be useless right now in relation to this, but I’m learning and understanding more and more and I know I will be able to handle this soon”. Or the other example, that no-one will ever love me, could become, “I know I have a good heart and as I work on loving myself a little more, I’ll become more attractive; my light will show through; I feel better already.”

You have the power in your own hands and heart to love yourself a little more every day. As you do this, you will begin to feel more free and happier because now you have a brighter future. And above all, when you feel good about
yourself, you align with your higher self, that part of you that is spirit and lives with a foot in this world and a foot in eternal reality.

You are one with Source, with the divine life that enervates every living thing, and every single human heart. Never forget this. You are never alone. You always have a powerful resource at your disposal. You have your infinite living spirit that connects you to all Goodness and All Life. Too easily we become bogged down with responsibilities, finances, depressing news and media and fail to lift our eyes to this higher part of ourselves.

So how you feel about yourself is the key to your happiness. Once you learn to accept and appreciate yourself, you will begin to feel better, and feelings begin
the process of creating your future experience. Dare to love yourself. Show up, chest out, smile on the dial, breathing deeply and freely. Step up to life, take charge of how you feel and appreciate the perfect and amazing person you truly are. This is the beginning of true personal freedom, authentic living and deep joy.

You can know something only to the extent that you have
experienced it. When you experience deep appreciation for
yourself, all power and love are at your disposal.
You are powerful beyond your wildest dreams – discover
you potential, and don’t stop until you find it.

Have a hope-filled week!
Marie Barrett

******************************************
3. Quotable Quote

The only motivation of all human behavior is one’s own
happiness. This statement is totally contrary to what most
people believe. Most believe that unselfishness, altruism
and sacrifice for others exist, and not only should exist,
but are of the highest values. (And of course, for
thousands of years people believed the earth is flat.)

I repeat and can prove absolutely that every human being in
every moment and circumstance always acts for his own
happiness as he or she calculates in that moment – no
exceptions. Furthermore, we are so constructed as spiritual
beings that we cannot act otherwise than for our own
happiness. (Powell writes in very positive terms, a
scientist of the way spirit works.)
- Thomas Michael Powell

***********************************************

“You Are the Creator of Your Life ”
http://www.holisticwealthcreation.com/psycanicscreator

P.S.
LIVING on less requires careful planning. Jesus emphasized the need for this. He asked: “Who of you that wants to build a tower does not first sit down and calculate the expense, to see if he has enough to complete it?” (Luke 14:28, 29) Applying that principle, you can “calculate the expense” of living within your means if you create a budget. How does it work? Try this:
When you bring home your earnings, designate specific amounts to be put in separate categories to care for present or future expenses. (See box on page 8.) When your expenses are organized, you can see where your money is going and how much is being spent on nonessentials. That, in turn, will help you to determine where you can cut back.
To develop a budget that works for you, put into practice the following suggestions.
Shop Wisely
When Raúl lost his job, his wife, Bertha, changed her method of shopping. “I looked for discount coupons and grocery store specials that offered two items for the price of one,” she says. Here are some other ideas:
● Plan your weekly menu around what is on sale.
● Buy basic ingredients instead of prepackaged foods, and cook from scratch.
● Stock up on items that are on sale or in season.
● Buy in bulk, but be careful not to overstock items that will eventually spoil.
● Slash clothing costs by purchasing quality used garments at resale stores.
● Travel to areas where prices are known to be lower, if this is cost-effective.
● Cut back on how often you shop.
Put It on Paper
“We had to have a budget,” says Fred, “so I kept a record of what we needed to pay out immediately and what we needed to have on hand for the rest of the month.” Adele, his wife, adds: “I knew exactly how much I could spend when I went to the market. At times when I needed to buy something for the kids or the house, I would look at the budget and think, ‘I can’t afford it, so we’ll have to wait until next month.’ Having a written record was the key!”
Before Buying, Think
Get into the habit of asking yourself: ‘Do I really need this? Is the old item actually worn out, or do I just want something new?’ If you will rarely use an item, would renting one suffice? Or if you anticipate using it frequently, would buying a good used one work just as well?
While some of the above measures may seem insignificant, they can add up! The point is, by establishing a pattern of saving with little things, you will do the same when faced with large expenses.
Be Resourceful
To cut down on nonessentials, get creative. For example, Adele relates: “We had two cars but quickly got rid of one and carpooled. To save on gas, we planned as many errands as possible with each trip. We trimmed down to the essentials.” The following are some other ways you can be resourceful:
● Plant a garden and grow your own vegetables.
● Follow manufacturer’s maintenance instructions, which may prolong the life of your appliances.
● Change out of your good clothing as soon as you come home—a practice that will keep them looking new longer.

Do Not Isolate Yourself!
Many who lose their job become withdrawn and isolate themselves. But not so with Fred! He found empathetic support from his family, including his grown children. “We learned to share a lot with one another, and this drew us closer,” he says. “All of us felt, ‘We’re in this together.’”
Fred also found strength from fellow Christians when he regularly met with them at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. “At the end of our Christian meetings, I always felt encouraged,” he says. “Everyone was so kind and considerate. Because of their help and comfort, we realized that we were not alone.”—John 13:35.
Benefits of Faith
Unemployment has generated millions of bitter victims who feel betrayed by their employers. Raúl, mentioned previously, was heartbroken by unexpected job losses twice—once in his homeland of Peru and then in New York City. After being laid off for the second time, Raúl concluded, “In the world today, absolutely nothing is secure.” For months, he had no success in finding employment. What helped him to cope? Raúl stated, “I had developed a close friendship with God and realized that for real security I just needed to trust in him.”
Raúl is one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and his study of the Bible helped him to develop strong faith in a caring heavenly Father, who promises: “I will by no means leave you nor by any means forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5) Conditions were not easy. “We always prayed for our basic necessities, and we learned to be happy with what God provided,” he says. Raúl’s wife, Bertha, adds: “I felt very nervous at times, wondering if Raúl would find a job. But we saw that Jehovah answered our prayers by providing for us each day. In a sense, even though we didn’t have as much as before, our life was much simpler.”
Because Fred is one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, his study of the Bible profoundly affected the way he dealt with his situation. “At times, we look for security in a job, a position, or a bank account,” he says. “But I learned that the only security we can have is from Jehovah God alone, and it is our friendship with him that provides the only genuine security.”

[Footnotes]
One study concluded that nearly 60 percent of all items bought by shoppers are unplanned.

How to Develop a Budget
(1) Write down your essential monthly expenses. Keep a record for one full month of all that you spend on food, housing (rent or mortgage), utility bills, car expenses, and the like. For bills that are paid annually, divide by 12 for the monthly amount.
(2) Organize expenses into categories. These include food, housing, automobile and travel costs, and so forth.
(3) Figure out how much of your savings must be applied monthly to each category. With bills paid annually, you must “calculate” how much needs to be put aside each month.
(4) Write down the combined net earnings of all in your household. Subtract deductions such as taxes. Compare this with the expenses.
(5) Set aside monthly the amount needed to satisfy each category. If using cash, a simple way is to mark envelopes for each category. Then periodically place cash in the appropriate envelope needed to cover the designated expense.
Caution: If you use a credit card, do so responsibly! Many a budget plan has been ruined by the temptation to ‘buy now, pay later.’

Net Monthly Income
NET MONTHLY WAGES $․․․․․ OTHER $․․․․․
NET WAGES OF
OTHERS IN HOME $․․․․․ TOTAL NET INCOME
$․․․․․
Budgeted Actual
Monthly Expenses Monthly Expenses
$․․․․․ Rent or Mortgage $․․․․․
$․․․․․ Insurance/Taxes $․․․․․
$․․․․․ Utility Bills $․․․․․
$․․․․․ Automotive $․․․․․
$․․․․․ Entertainment/Travel $․․․․․
$․․․․․ Phone $․․․․․
$․․․․․ Food $․․․․․
$․․․․․ Other $․․․․․
BUDGETED TOTAL ACTUAL TOTAL
$․․․․․ $․․․․․
Compare Income & Expenses
NET MONTHLY INCOME $․․․․․
MINUS− BALANCE
MONTHLY EXPENSES $․․․․․ $․․․․․

“As my paycheck shrinks, my bills continue to grow. I often lie awake at night wondering how to provide for my family.”—James.
“It’s as if the walls were closing in on me and I had no way out.”—Sheri.
DURING periods of economic instability, such observations are not rare. Commenting on the recent global economic downturn, Juan Somavia, director-general of the International Labour Office, observed: “This is not simply a crisis on Wall Street,” adding: “This is a crisis on all streets.”
The sudden loss of employment or the lack of funds for the basic needs of one’s family can lead to deep anxiety and even feelings of hopelessness. At one stage in his life, the Bible writer David felt that way. He prayed: “Distresses of my heart have multiplied; from the stresses upon me O bring me out.” (Psalm 25:17) What does the Bible say about our times, and can its inspired wisdom enhance our security and give us more peace?
Wisdom for Critical Times
The Bible foretold that “the last days” of the present world would be marked by “pangs of distress” and “critical times hard to deal with.” (2 Timothy 3:1; Matthew 24:8) Those words are certainly proving to be true! Still, we are not without hope, for God, by means of the Holy Bible, has made available to us the very wisdom we need for coping with times of economic uncertainty.
For instance, the Bible helps us to have the right view of money. Ecclesiastes 7:12 reads: “Wisdom is for a protection the same as money is for a protection; but the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom itself preserves alive its owners.” Yes, money can provide some protection, but only godly wisdom, as found in the pages of the Bible, can offer genuine security at all times. Consider some examples.
Coping With Hard Economic Times
Be diligent. “The lazy one is showing himself desirous, but his soul has nothing. However, the very soul of the diligent ones will be made fat.” (Proverbs 13:4) The lesson? Develop the reputation of being an honest, hard worker. Good workers are greatly valued by employers and may be more likely to be the first ones hired and the last ones fired.—Ephesians 4:28.
Consider the cost before buying. Jesus said: “Who of you that wants to build a tower does not first sit down and calculate the expense, to see if he has enough to complete it?” (Luke 14:28) Although Jesus was illustrating the need to count the cost of becoming one of his followers, his words are obviously true in a literal sense. So prepare a budget, listing your real needs and the costs.
Do not waste money on bad habits. Such practices as gambling, smoking, and drug and alcohol abuse are all bad in God’s eyes.—Proverbs 23:20, 21; Isaiah 65:11; 2 Corinthians 7:1.
Avoid “the love of money.” (Hebrews 13:5) Money lovers are bound to suffer unhappiness and disillusionment, in effect, ‘stabbing themselves all over with many pains.’ (1 Timothy 6:9, 10) What is more, they become slaves to an insatiable appetite, for no matter how much they have, it is never enough.—Ecclesiastes 5:10.
Learn contentment. “We have brought nothing into the world, and neither can we carry anything out. So, having sustenance and covering, we shall be content with these things.” (1 Timothy 6:7, 8) People who are content with less may be able to avoid becoming overly anxious when the economy takes a downturn. So learn to live contentedly within your means.
None of us know what tomorrow holds. “Time and unforeseen occurrence befall [us] all,” says Ecclesiastes 9:11. The wise, therefore, “rest their hope, not on uncertain riches, but on God,” who has promised his loyal ones: “I will by no means leave you nor by any means forsake you.”—1 Timothy 6:17; Hebrews 13:5.

HAVE YOU WONDERED?
● How does the Bible describe our times?—2 Timothy 3:1-5.
● Where can trustworthy guidance be found today?—Psalm 19:7.
● How can I provide a secure future for my family?—Ecclesiastes 7:12.

WAYS TO SAVE
Shopping: Make a list. Avoid impulse buying. Look for the best prices. Make use of coupons and rebates. Purchase needed items on sale and off season. When possible, buy in bulk.
Home finances: Pay bills on time to avoid extra charges. Prepare meals and beverages at home, and be moderate in food and alcohol consumption. Turn off lights and appliances when they are not in use. If possible, use energy-efficient devices. Insulate your home. Consider downsizing.
Transportation: If you need a personal vehicle, buy a reliable, fuel-efficient one. It need not be new. Combine errands, and carpool when possible. Otherwise, use public transportation, walk, or ride a bike. Vacation off season and perhaps closer to home.
Phones and entertainment: Do you need a home phone as well as a cell phone? If your children have cell phones, can they use them more sparingly or even manage without them? If you subscribe to a TV service, can you cut costs by reducing the number of channels? Borrow books and movies from the library instead of buying them.

In the spiritual realm, a soul exists as an integral part of the eternal light – it is “pairing with the divine”. The complete merge within the light gives it the utmost pleasure and satisfaction. As the spiritual realm reflects in the physical realm, this complete unity manifests in our world in the form of sexual union. Sexuality is one of the strongest desires on earth, the root of all desires. When a soul is reincarnated in the physical world, it still has a “memory” of the total union with the divine. Therefore we can annotate the sexual desire as a preliminary spiritual desire.

The Alphabet for Lovers, a new and innovative guidance and divination tool by Kabbalah Insights, is designed for diagnosis, advice and prediction concerning relationships between men and women, but also about relationships that are not romantic: between boss and employee, parent and child (if the child has already matured), between co-workers or family members, friends and relatives, business partners, etc..
The new groundbreaking new tool is here:
http://www.kabbalahinsights.com/en/products/alphabet-for-lovers

My fiance and I finally chose and official marriage date: November 9, 2013. I am so excited but it is so odd all at once! I was never the type of lady who thought about a wedding nor did I think I was ever going to get married. Now I have to find a dress, make a list, and plan this all out. I have a dress in mind and I will post the link so all of you can see it. My maid of honor is already helping me out a lot. The only problem is my parents want an all out traditional wedding and I am not a traditional person! I like things to be a little odd and with humor like my dog being the ring bearer! It would also be nice if his mom supported us a little more. Unfortunatly, for reasons unbeknownst to both of us, she doesn't really care for me and so doesn't support our union. I hope we can get passed that. The last thing I want is a monster-in-law and I know my mom would not put up with someone who dislikes me for no known reason. Either way, I am very excited but have no idea where to start! Like I said, I never DREAMED of a wedding! Well here is my dress idea and I will keep all of you posted on the progress and share lots of pictures!! Love you all and Blessed be! http://www.milanoo.com/Ivory-High-Neck-Floor-Length-Applique-Satin-A-line-Wedding-Dress-p189078.html
