Sometimes & All the Time
God, Lord of the Angel Armies, Holy of Holies, Lord of Hosts
Help me
Sometimes I get lost and sometimes I don't know which way to go; and sometimes I hurt myself with thoughts that I don't know what to do with; and sometimes I wonder if I'm going in the right direction; and sometimes I wonder if it's all worth it.
Sometimes I get so full of fear that I paralyze myself; and sometimes I can't get my head out of old stuff that happened 20 years ago; and sometimes I really wonder if I'm crazy God, then, right then, something happens, some miracle of Love happens and in a Holy Instant I remember:
That God is God, all the time
That God is Love, all the time
That God is good, all the time
That Life is for me, all the time
That there is nothing God cannot do, all the time;
That I am miraculously fed and clothed by the sustaining power of God's Love, all the time;
That no matter what it looks like, everything is perfect, all the time;
That when I surrender and take my grubby paws of what's going on and just let God do it, everything works out perfectly and divinely for me and everybody else, all the time.
Whew!
Now I can breathe! All the time!
Now I can rejoice! All the time!
Now I can be grateful! All the time!
Now I can be Love! All the time!
Hallelujah!
Thank you God, for being God, ALL THE TIME!
And so it is!
