Coming Present to God in Each Moment
Gracious and Merciful God, I honor Your presence in my life today.
I acknowledge You as the sunrise and sunset each day.
God, I cherish the many hidden gifts and treasures that You bless me with each day. I know it is my job to discover the wonders of Your works and give thanks for all You provide each day, moment by moment.
I know that my life is so much bigger than what I think I need in order to experience joy. I know that if I simply come present to the moment, there are countless reasons in which to be joy-filled.
I confess that sometimes I am looking for a very specific miracle to occur in my life, distracting me from acknowledging the numerous miracles that are present right now.
So today God, I make it my business to acknowledge ALL of the ways You show up.
I am grateful that You do not limit my blessings to my personal requests but instead provide ALL of my needs in abundance.
Gracious God, thank You for Your grace, mercy and generosity. I honor not only what You do, but who You are in my life.
And So It Is. Amen
